I really can't stand this woman. She's so pretentious and looks like she is reading cue cards and now she is obviously paying someone to try to make it look like she can dress cool. The wine industry in toronto knows her as stuck up but I don't know why as she does stuff like shitty boxed wine but I guess it's a buck.

I always wonder about these Chef’s who want to tell a story, about giving people a nostalgic moment in their life or whatever through food. If you research these Chef’s they always have regrets about not being there for their own families. Does not seem worth it in the end.

Had a Monte del Fra Lugana DOC from neighbouring Lombardia last mONTH. first time trying a Turbiana variety. And its now my fav. italian white. Aromas of white flower, peaches and dried apricot., with some inerality.
